Seeing is believing.
Since its formation over 50 years ago, the Trust has restored many public and private buildings in King’s Lynn. These projects have stood up well to intensive use and environmental wear and tear.
As many of the restored buildings were sold into private hands upon completion, their internal fabric is not available for public viewing. But some if not all of their external fabric is easily seen from the street.
However, Thoresby College – with its peaceful internal court yard and imposing Great Hall and Undercroft both of which can be hired for meetings and conferences – can be seen all year round by appointment through the Trust office. Thoresby College demonstrates graphically the scale and professionalism of our important work over the years.
The College, Great Hall and the Undercroft are open to the public – without appointment – on King’s Lynn’s annual heritage day each September, as is The Greenland Fishery.
As the Trust considers which project to do next, we would like to hear your views.
