The Trust’s 60th anniversary marked during King’s Lynn Festival

On 25th July, during the King’s Lynn Festival, the Town Guides included a walk commemorating 60 years of the Preservation Trust. Nineteen people took part. The walk started at Church Lane, next to All Saints’ Church and ended at Evershed House in King Street. In all, eight of the Trust’s former projects were visited: Church Lane/All Saint’s Street, Greenland Fishery, Priory Cottages, Hampton Court, Thoresby College, Clifton House, 28-32 King Street and Evershed House.

Thanks are due to all those owners of former Trust properties who so generously opened their doors and gardens and made them available to the visitors.

The walk was taken by our own Secretary to the Board, Doreen Leventhall, who is also a Town Guide.
